About Her
Born in UK, went to South Africa in 1962 (Traveled overland) where I lived until 2009 when I returned to UK. I thought it would be a good place to retire to but my heart remains in South Africa although I do love France.
I am easy to get on with, have a sense of humour and people take me for younger than my years. I am told I am an inspiration and "different"! I can't abide liars, laziness or miserable people. I love to travel, and like to be outdoors. I am not a chatterbox but love intelligent discussions about all sorts of things especially over a nice dinner and glass of wine. I have done a fair amount of sailing and love to be by the ocean but I also love the mountains. Someone who enjoys sailing would suite me well.
My outlook on life is just to keep going and enjoy it all as it comes. I am loyal and hate to let anyone down. I don't enter relationships easily but lately thought it would be nice to have someone in my life to share things with but not marriage or full time unless it "just happens to go that way". I find this somewhat difficult to write!
About Her Ideal Match
Must be honest for a start. Must like to be outdoors. Must have travelled and have a wide experience of life. A South African would be great because I identify with them more than British guys but that doesn't rule out a Brit totally! Must not be "clingy" and want to be with me all the time, we all need our own space at our age. A deal breaker? that would be bad personal hygiene and teeth, smelly clothes and I really don't like smoking too close to me but that could be forgiven if not in excess.
